How do I join Scouting?
If your son is 10 years old and has completed the fifth grade, or is atleast 11 and not yet 18 years old, he may join a Boy Scout troop. Troop 282 of Burnet meets every Tuesday at 7:00 P.M. at The Episcopal Church. Contact Anthony Adamcik at 512-525-6139 for more info.
How much Does it cost to join?
Required: $15 registration fee every year Optional extras: Uniform, handbook, Boys’ Life subscription,camping equipment (your son will need some camping gear but many brandsare specifically designed with a more experienced camper in mind; talkwith the Scoutmaster before buying anything)
