In February 2010, the Boy Scouts of America will celebrate 100 years as an organization. Founded as an outlet to prepare every eligible youth in America to become a participating citizen and leader, BSA has more than fulfilled its mission. This is the best time to be part of the scouting experience. As a member of the BSA you can say " I joined Scouting when it turned 100 years old!" or "I was in Scouting when it turned 100 years old!". This is an something that you can only experience once in a life time.
For 100 years, Scouting has created a foundation of leadership, service, and community for millions of America's youth. The 100th Anniversary is a milestone bigger than what can be celebrated in a single day.
