Hi there! So glad you found us!
Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 222 of Saddle Brook, New Jersey.
We are almost 60 years strong in town, sponsored by the Holy Name Society of St. Philip the Apostle Church and run by lots great leaders and parents.
Our Pack is always open to new boys from first grade through fifth grade. Cub Scouting is all about family. Siblings are welcomed at almost all of our events.
We normally have our Pack Meetings on the third Wednesday of the month from September to June at
St Philip the Apostle Church - Gymnasium on
488 Saddle River Road from 7:15 PM to 8:30PM. Additionally, each month we offer a new & exciting trip or event ranging from attending a baseball, football, soccer or hockey game, going to Monster Jam or the Nuclear Cowboyz, snow tubing, swimming and of course CAMPING (just to name a few) No Cub Scout Pack would be complete without our annual Pinewood Derby. The boys love the excitement of watching their cars compete for 1st Place.
We're not all about trips though. We always "Do Our Best" to make a difference in the community through service projects such as food drives, nursing home visits & recycling projects. We also teach the boys beginner skills in subjects such as fishing, how to tie the perfect knot, cooking, how to use basic tools, how to identify poisonous leaves and how to keep themselves safe.
