The objective of Troop 70 is to put into action the purpose of Boy Scouts which include the ideals set forth in the Scout Oath, Scout Law, Scout Motto, and Scout Slogan.  

Through the leadership of Troop 70, a safe environment is provided for Scouts to explore the ideals of Scouting. Through regular scheduled meetings, camping trips, and other activities, Scouts are provided the opportunity to learn and to apply the disciplines of Scouting which, in many cases, are life skills. Troop 70 provides the opportunity for each Scout to learn and practice leadership skills that will help guide him toward Scouting's goal of good citizenship.
