Troop 356’s goal is to create and maintain a great scouting experience for our developing Scouts through boy-led and adult supervised activities. We are committed to providing a solid program of basic scout skills, outdoor activities, community service, and friendship building. The troop draws most of its members demographically from the northern Colorado Springs area.
Troop 356 is a boy-led troop. The youth provide the leadership, teach outdoor skills, and develop the plan for our scouting activities. The troop maintains a goal to have an outdoor experience (camping, hiking, backpacking, etc.) at least 12 times a year.
The troop encourages all parents to become involved in the scouting program as committee members, merit badge counselors, or assistant scoutmasters. Parents are always welcome to participate in any of our activities.
If you'd like to learn more about our program please feel free to contact us by through the website using the "Contact our Troop" link at the top of the page. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
We hope that your journey through scouting will be a rewarding and enjoyable experience.
