—Lord Baden-Powell, Scouting's founder

Rodney Scout Reservation (Camp Rodney)

Rodney Scout Reservation is one of two council camps of the Del-Mar-Va Council, located on the Northern Bank of Chesapeake Bay. The camp offers a wide range of programs to pique the interest of any scout or leader. Anywhere from Catamaran sailing to wood carving, from nature walks to canoeing outposts, or from hiking to boardsailing; Rodney has it all. It is located on over 900 acres of rolling upland woodlands at the head of the Chesapeake Bay and boasts over a mile of prime bay frontage. It has been in continuous operation since 1923.

Horseshoe Scout Reservation (Camp Horseshoe & Camp Ware)

The Horseshoe Scout Reservation is owned and operated by the Chester County Council, Boy Scouts of America and is located along the Mason-Dixon line separating Pennsylvania and Maryland. The name of the Reservation is derived from the Octoraro Creek (Lenni Lenape for muddy river), a tributary of the Susquehanna River, which makes a meandering 4-mile horseshoe through the property.

Divided into two camps the 1200 acre Reservation is made up of Camp Horseshoe and Camp John H. Ware, 3rd as well as numerous backcountry sites.  Combined these camps provide a "multi-use" facility hosting Scouts BSA, Cub Scouts, Venturers as well as other programs, including a special needs camporee, year round.
