The 5th grade year is the second half of the Cub Scout Webelos program - the Arrow of Light.

The Cub Scout second year Webelos program is designed specifically to offer an age appropriate experience for your 4th & 5th grade boy or girl.

As an active parent of Pack 255, you will join your Scout as they work with other Scouts to discover the world they lives in.

The Cub Scout Webelos program is designed to be a time of transition to prepare your Scout for Boy Scouts. As such, he will spend his time working with the other Scouts and all the boys and girls will take turns in leadership roles in his den and in the Pack.

Usually, a Webelos den meets three days a month with meetings generally lasting one hour. In addition, there is one monthly Pack (all boys and girls 1st-5th grade) meeting once per month.

Additional activities (park cleanups, tours of local places of interest, sleepover events, camps, etc) are also available for your Scout to attend as his schedule and your family's circumstances permit.

A boy or girl who has never been in Scouting before his 5th grade year should Contact our Pack to determine whether it would be best to join Cub Scout Pack 255 or if it would be best for the 5th grade boy or girl to proceed directly to a Boy Scout Troop.
