Troop 86 is part of the Heart of America Council (HOAC) which serves 19 counties in Kansas and Missouri. Making a positive impact on more than 45,000 youth members in our greater Kansas City area. Scouting helps ordinary kids become extraordinary adults.

Troop 86 is in the Iron Horse District under the Heart of America Council. The Iron Horse District serves southwestern Johnson County bounded by 75th Street on the North, I-35 and Claire Road on the East, and 143rd St and Moonlight Road on the West. Communities served include: Lenexa, Western Olathe, Gardner, and Edgerton. The district is organized to support the volunteer Scouters as they provide the programs of the Boy Scouts of America to the youth of this area.

Courses can help adult leaders deliver quality Scouting experiences to youth. A login is required, however anyone may create a user account and view the courses. Registered members of the BSA may provide their member numbers (as part of the user profile) to receive credit.
Summer Camps
Boys must get a yearly physical in order to attend campouts...
Anyone attending camp needs to have a yearly physical and the form turned in BEFORE attending any camp. The form can be printed from the HOAC (Heart of America Council) website. Then click on the link "Annual Health & Medical Record for Boy Scout camping & camping OVER 72 hours" Or you can download it from the link below (Parts A, B& C).
Physical can be done by your regular doctor, or a Minute Clinic within the CVS Pharmacy. For more information on their locations, click here.
