Boy Scout Troop 427 in part of the Chesapeake District of the Baltimore Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America!

We meet every Monday night from 6:45 to 8:30 pm year round.

The troop is sponsored by and meets at the Hughes Memorial Presbyterian Church at 3010 Sparrows Point Road.

Troop 427 is one of the oldest troops in the Council.  We were originally chartered in 1945!  Since that time, troop 427 has remained an active troop, meeting weekly and going on camping trips every month.  In addition, we participate in various community activities and service projects throughout the year.  Each summer our scouts have the opportunity to attend a week long summer camp program.  In recent years, they have traveled to camps in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia.  For our older scouts, we also offer high adventure opportunities each summer.  Our scouts have been to Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico, Florida Sea Base in the Florida Keys, and a few years ago we sent a contingent to Costa Rica!

Our troop currently has over thirty registered scouts in four patrols.  We have a very active parents club and committee that supports the troop as well as a dedicated group of leaders.
