You want her to become her best self.
Whether she is 5 or 17, you want her to become self-confident, strong and compassionate. You want her to respect herself and others, make good decisions, be open to new challenges, and use her skills and talents to make her world a better place. You want her to build strong friendships, be a leader, and put her values into practice in her everyday life.
Social pressure, image issues, and uncertainty – there are so many potential hurdles to their well-being. For almost 100 years, the Girl Scout Leadership Experience has helped girls realize their full potential.
The Rocky Point Girl Scouts are made up of over 300 Girl Scouts in over 40 troops. We have over 70 leaders dedicated to guiding the girls on their Girl Scout journey.
The girls participate in activities with their Troop; with other troops in Rocky Point; with other girls in Suffolk County and they can do activities on their own. Through these experiences, the girls learn to be confident, independent, and gain valuable life skills.
