Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 1107, Alexandria, Virginia !
Troop 1107 is a member of the National Capital Area Council, Colonial District, of the Boy Scouts of America. We have a very active group of adults who support a boy run Troop. What are the long-term objectives and goals of Troop 1107? Our goal as Troop Leaders is to build your son's self confidence, give him goals and enrich his values by teaching him outdoor skills related to camping, hiking, backpacking, first aid, survival training, outdoor tools, swimming, cooking and caring for the environment. Participation in monthly troop outings and other major events such as summer camp offer invaluable opportunities to learn and practice the full range of scout skills. We hope to assist you as parents in the personal development of your son by emphasizing physical fitness, a strong moral code, personal responsibility, commitment, loyalty, leadership, goal setting and serving others. Our Troop meets Mondays at 7:00pm at St. John's Lutheran Church. Come check us out! Have questions? Click the Contact Our Troop link above. |
