Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 43, the oldest continuing Pack in the United States, sponsored by the Sparks United Methodist Church at 1231 Pyramid Way at the Northwest corner of Pyramid Way and Oddie Boulevard. We invite youth of all backgrounds and faiths in Grades K through 5 to join the Pack. Den Meetings are Mondays at 6:30 for Lions (Kindergarten), Tigers (1st Grade), Wolves (2nd), Bears (3rd), and Webelos (Grades 4 and 5). Pack Meetings are the last Monday of the month at 6:30 P.M. If you are 11 and in fifth grade or higher, join our
Boy Scout Troop 43 which meets on Mondays at the same time.
Our goal is to build character in our Scouts through fun activities that teach the twelve points of the Scout Law: Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent. We also teach respect, learn outdoor and life skills, and practice the Boy Scout slogan "Prepared, for Life." Cub Scouts is a family activity and parents and siblings are invited to participate in the majority of our activities. Cub Scouts is an incredible experience for watching your kids grow and develop while having fun at the same time.
If you have questions, contact Megan Kellermeyer, Pack 43's Cubmaster, at (775) 848-4233 or
