Wrentham/Plainville Service Unit is a strong unit serving 169 girls in 16 troops. We have more than 50 adult volunteers dedicated to guiding the girls on their Girl Scout Journey. We belong to Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England (GSSNE). Although troop size varies, the average size troop is 12 girls. All troops have two or more trained leaders who have had references and CORIs checked.
We have all levels of Girl Scouts: Daisy through Ambassador Girl Scout Programs.
Please click on the 'Age Levels' tab on the left to see a description of the levels.
Most of our troops are either all Wrentham Girls or all Plainville Girls.
Some, especially the older girl troops, combine girls from both towns.
Most troops are single grade troops and meet twice a month.
Who do you want the girl in your life to become?
You want her to become her best self.
Whether she is 5 or 17, you want her to become self-confident, strong and compassionate. You want her to respect herself and others, make good decisions, be open to new challenges, and use her skills and talents to make her world a better place. You want her to build strong friendships, be a leader, and put her values into practice in her everyday life.
Social pressure, image issues, and uncertainty - there are so many potential hurdles to their well-being. For 110 years, the Girl Scout Leadership Experience has helped girls realize their full potential.
The girls in Wrentham/Plainville Girl Scouts participate in activities with their troop, with other troops in Wrentham/Plainville, and with other girls throughout Southeastern New England. They can also do activities on their own. Through all these experiences, the girls learn to be confident, independent, and gain valuable life skills.
