Cub Scout Pack 426 in Campbelltown, PA is sponsored by the Campbelltown Fire Company. We meet at the Campbelltown Fire Co. Social Hall or at Camp Birch (850 Beech Street, Palmyra) approximately every other Wednesday from 6:30 - 8:00.
We are a small, family-friendly pack of about 30 kids. We invite family members and siblings to stay for our meetings and participate. If we are learning to tie a knot, there is no reason we can't teach mom, dad, brother, or sister. It just makes it more fun. Since we are smaller, we work with all levels at all meetings at the same time. This gives the older boys the opportunity to work on their leadership skills with the younger scouts before entering Boy Scouts. When a requirement is specific to a level we may hold additional meetings for that level as necessary to get a requirement completed.
We plan our meetings and outings around the requirements to ensure that each of our scouts can attain rank each year. There is always some work that must be done at home with the family. But the bulk of the requirements are completed during meetings and special outings.
