We'd love to hear from you!!!
Cub Scout Pack 733 is located in Winfield, Maryland and has been in existence since 1955. Pack 733 is chartered by Winfield PTO and most Den and Pack meetings are held at the Winfield Elementary School. Pack 733 would like to express our thanks to the school for use of their facilities and to the Winfield PTO for sponsoring our Pack.
The Cub Scout organization for this area is centered in Baltimore. The Baltimore Area Council has existed for 100 years and is divided into Districts. The Carroll District covers our area and is divided into Packs. Pack 733, being one of these, is further divided into Dens. Each Den, about 6-8 Scouts, organize the Scouts into age and gender groups defined by the rank associated with that age level (Lions for Kindergarteners, Tigers for 1st graders, Wolves for 2nd graders, Bears for 3rd graders, Webelos for 4th graders, and Arrow of Light for 5th graders).
The Scouting year officially starts June 1st and we welcome boys and girls that will be entering Kindergarten through 5th grade in the fall. Registration can occur anytime throughout the year and is not limited to Winfield families. If your child is home-schooled we would love to have your family join us as well. Pack meetings occur at least once a month and involve all Scouts. Den meetings occur throughout the month with smaller groups. Please let us know if you would like to visit to see how much fun we have!
Pack 733 is a strong organization of adult volunteers and enthusiastic Scouts. Without our volunteers the Pack would not exist. The Pack is guided by a Pack Committee that plans, organizes, and oversees all functions. If you would like to help the Scouts have a great time and learn how to be a Cub Scout please email us at Pack733Winfield@gmail.com. Note, you do not have to have a Scout in the program to volunteer.
Please note, when attending Scouting events at Winfield Elementary, please enter and exit through the cafeteria doors at the rear of the school. The Class A uniform is worn by the Scouts at all Pack and Den meetings, unless otherwise specified.
