BSA Troop 262
Boy Scout Troop 262 develops the leaders of tomorrow through a program that
encourages collaborative teamwork and friendly service.
Our annual program includes activities each month of the year, including numerous weekend campouts, the Rim Rover series of hikes,
participation
in the Quicksilver District Camp-O-Ree, Scout-O-Rama,
summer camp at the Silicon Valley Monterey Bay Council's Camp Hi Sierra, and regular service projects: road litter clean-up, Operation Christmas Child "Shoe Box" packing, and Memorial Day flag placement at Oak Hill Cemetery.
The Troop meets Monday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 at Almaden Hills United Methodist Church, 1200 Blossom Hill Road. Parent Committee Meetings are held the first Monday of each month concurrent with the Troop meeting.
There is a
one time
joining fee of $140. This covers the cost of a Boy Scout Handbook, one set of Unit Numerals, a Troop T-Shirt, a custom Troop Neckerchief, green shoulder loops, and a piece of cord to make your neckerchief slide.
Additionally, there
is
a $20/month dues (September through June) used to help offset the cost
for
campsite usage fees for our campouts.
For additional information or to schedule a visit please contact Ben Ng, Scoutmaster or Peter Chan, Committee Chair.
